Trinette received the Best Actress award from the Berlin Indie Film Festival and Best Female Director, Short, from the Rotterdam Independent Film Festival for her short film Party Pants, which she also produced and co-directed.

She also received the Best Short Screenplay nomination from the Barcelona Indie Awards Festival, received a semifinalist nod from the Venezia Shorts Fest, an Honorable Mention nod from the Hollywood Shortsfest, a Best Comedy nomination from the RED Movie Awards Festival, and Official Selection from the Brazil Independent Magazine and International Film Festival.
